Crane Specialists, Inc. and Red Arrow Crane, will be hosting an NCCCO class beginning on March 16, 2026, and will continue throughout the week. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be classroom time, while Thursday will be used for practical testing and written exams. Written classroom training and testing will be performed at Rohrer’s Service Center. Practical testing will be done at our facility in Manheim, Pa. Lunch will be provided classroom days. Applicants will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. We welcome applicants who wish to retest or recertify. This course is intended for operators with experience. It is not designed to be an operator development course. Call for details. The class is limited to 14 candidates.

If you currently hold an NCCCO certification, and you are within 12 months of expiring, upon passing the recertification, or written test, you will have 5 additional years added to the end of your current expiration date.

Monday – Training starts promptly at 7:30 a.m. and will continue throughout the day. Please report to Rohrer’s Service Center is located at 16 Lititz Road, P.O. Box 365, Lititz PA 17543. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

03/17/26
Tuesday – Training starts promptly at 7:30 a.m. at Rohrer’s Service Center and will continue throughout the day. We will be meeting at Rohrer’s Service Center for training. Practical test practice will be in the afternoon at our shop at 140 Wast End Drive, Manheim, PA. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

03/18/26
Wednesday – Training starts promptly at 7:30 am at Rohrer’s Service Center and will continue until lunch. The rest of the day we will be doing practical practice and exams (for those who are ready) in the afternoon at our shop. Doughnuts for breakfast and lunch will be provided.

03/19/26
Thursday – The written exam is scheduled for 9:00 am and will be held at Rohrer’s Service Center. As candidates finish their written tests, they will begin practical exams at our shop in Manheim as needed. Pizza will be provided for lunch.

Cost:

• New applicant total Cost will be $3,000/person which includes $320.00 to CCO to cover written examination fees. The testing must be paid for in full prior to the start of the class. This will cover TSS and TLL. Additional certifications will be extra.
• Total cost to “Recertify” for TSS and TLL will be $2000.00, which will include written training and NCCCO fees for Core exam, TSS and TLL specials. If you are. A “Cancellation Fee” of $360.00 will be charged if candidates back out of the class within two weeks of the class taking place.
• Lattice Boom (LBC) practical’s might be offered dependent on our availability of a Kobelco. Cost for practical is $860.00.

1. Candidates MUST possess operating skills and MUST have operating experience if expected to pass practical portion.
2. Candidates MUST possess basic reading, writing and math skills in order to pass the written portion
3. Well-equipped cranes and practice time are included in the program.
4. Additional practice time on the cranes by appointment.
